- MC16 is a multi-door physical entrance and building automation controller for the RACS5 system. Depending on the version, the controller allows you to control up to 16 doors and 32 automation nodes (states). MC16 can be integrated into security systems using inputs and outputs. MC16 can be used as a time and attendance data collection device. The controller is designed to work with MCT (RS485) series readers, and also supports Wiegand and RACS CLK/DTA readers. RS485 interface supports any signal cable and cabling type (tree or star combinations). The controller has an integrated Ethernet interface for management and configuration. The system is managed by a VISO client-server, which works with Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft SQL Server Compact databases. The data interface is coded using the AES-128-CBC method. Typically, it takes less than a minute to configure the system regardless of the number of controllers, which is theoretically unlimited.
