U.2 is finding its way more and more into professional storage solutions. No surprise, U.2 delivers PCIe (NVMe) data transfer rates of up to 64 Gbit/s into the 2.5" format and supports HotSwap, which does not apply to its M.2 counterpart.
M.2 NVMe now available as 2.5" U.2 SSD
The dimensions of the converter correspond to a standard 2.5" SSD with 9.5 mm height and is equally easy to assemble.
Optimized cooling
Thanks to the cooling fins on the upper side, the surface can be increased which results in improved heat dissipation. The all-over aluminium housing provides a further cooling factor and makes the converter robust.
