FUNCTIONS

Equal performance vertically and horizontally

The VG-C3EM's body design makes it almost as easy to use vertically as horizontally, with the buttons and controls being almost identical to those on the back of the camera body. For example, the vertical dial features a directional pad for quick AF point selection.

Easy-to-grip handle shape

With the VG-C3EM grip, you can hold the camera more comfortably and shoot vertically with almost the same peace of mind as horizontally.

Almost 2x longer operation

The VG-C3EM vertical grip body holds two NP-FZ100 batteries. The remaining battery charge can be checked on the camera's LCD monitor, which is displayed as a percentage on the power indicator (1% minimum unit). When one battery runs out, the camera automatically switches to the other battery to continue using the camera.

USB charging through the camera body

The batteries in the vertical grip can be charged via the camera's USB port without even detaching the grip from the camera body.

Very strong external magnesium construction

Made from magnesium alloy, like the α9, the handle is very strong and lightweight.

Attention to protection against dust and moisture

Keys and controls, as well as sockets and electrical contacts, are coated with an effective dust and moisture-proof insulating layer for use in the most demanding shooting conditions.
