Newell BG-E8 is a high-quality, fully functional replacement for the "Canon" grip. It is distinguished by its precision machining, perfectly aligned center of gravity and profile, ensuring maximum comfort when working with the camera. It sits firmly in the hand, especially when using large lenses or when shooting in a vertical position. It has a comfortable rubber finish on all sides in contact with the hand.

One or two LP-E8 batteries can be used. Alternatively, AA batteries can be inserted into the grip using a special case (included). Using a Ni-MH battery allows the camera to perform better in low temperatures and emergency power, kai does not include a charger.

Newell BG-E8 has all the functions known from the original "Canon" grip: a two-position shutter button, a setting dial, an AF lock/EF/thumbnail/zoom button, and an AF area selection/zoom button. It also has a thread on the bottom for attaching the camera to a tripod and a place to attach a wrist strap.
