The all-new 2022 R-Series loudspeaker lineup is Hi-Res Audio certified and boasts a frequency response of up to 40 kHz. For the first time, the R-Series lineup includes a 3-way system, and you can even choose from Professional and Standard speaker lines.

New 2022 R Series Speakers
Alpine's Legendary R-Series speakers are now in their third generation and have been designed with innovative materials to deliver increased output and truly incredible sound. You can choose between professional and standard speaker lines to suit your desired sound quality and budget.

Two-way component speaker PRO
The R2-S652 is a 2-way PRO model from the new 2022 R Series loudspeaker line. It features a 16.5cm woofer in the doors and a 4.3cm tweeter with a frequency response of up to 40kHz.

Glass fiber reinforced cone
The door woofer and midrange driver feature all-new glass-fiber reinforced cones. This material is highly rigid and extremely lightweight, resulting in super-fast response and highly accurate musical reproduction.

Cast aluminum basket and large magnets
The PRO models (R2-S635 and R2-S652) feature high-quality aluminum cages, providing high rigidity and supporting heavier magnets without warping. This allowed our engineers to fit larger magnets than previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).

Hi-Res Audio Certified Hard Dome Tweeter
All-new magnesium hard-dome tweeters deliver clear, detailed music reproduction and playback up to 40 kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You can flush-mount them in a threaded enclosure (for example, in a door panel) or use the included dashboard mounts. The tweeters can be rotated within the enclosure to precisely aim them at the sweet spot.

Easy to install tweeter in OEM locations
You can simply remove the mounting bezel and trim ring of the R-Series tweeter to minimize its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then small enough to fit in many OEM tweeter locations (inside A-pillars, mirror triangles, or door panels) for a stealthy installation.

Flexible PRO X-Over Network
This large-scale crossover incorporates numerous high-quality components selected for optimal sound quality. You can adjust the midrange level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB, and the tweeter level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.

HAMR Surround
Alpine HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control. This results in powerful bass at high volumes without distortion.

New speaker grilles
The new hexagonal speaker grilles look very aggressive and do not increase the overall diameter of the speaker installation.
