New 2022 R Series Speakers
Alpine's Legendary R-Series speakers are now in their third generation and have been designed with innovative materials to deliver increased output and truly incredible sound. You can choose between professional and standard speaker lines to suit your desired sound quality and budget.

Two-way coaxial speaker
The R2-S65 is a 2-way coaxial model from the new 2022 R Series loudspeaker line. It features a 16.5cm woofer in the door and an integrated tweeter with a frequency response up to 40kHz.

Glass fiber reinforced cone
The door woofer features an all-new glass-fiber reinforced cone. This material is highly rigid and incredibly lightweight, resulting in super-fast response and highly accurate musical reproduction.

Composite basket and large magnets
The standard models (R2-S65, R2-S65, R2-S69C, and R2-S69) feature composite baskets (compared to the cast aluminum baskets in the PRO models), making them more affordable. They accommodate larger magnets than previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).

Hi-Res Audio Certified Hard Dome Tweeter
All-new magnesium hard-dome tweeters deliver clear, detailed music reproduction and playback up to 40 kHz (Hi-Res Audio). The coax tweeters can be rotated within the housing to precisely aim them at the sweet spot.

HAMR Surround
Alpine HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control. This results in powerful bass at high volumes without distortion.

New speaker grilles
The new hexagonal speaker grilles look very aggressive and do not increase the overall diameter of the speaker installation.
