SONOFF ZBDongle-E is a universal Zigbee 3.0 USB adapter that allows you to connect and control Zigbee devices from various manufacturers using popular smart home platforms such as Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, openHAB and other open source smart home systems.
Using a single USB device, you can create a centralized Zigbee network and avoid the need to use separate Zigbee hubs from different manufacturers. It requires a computer, Raspberry Pi or Home Assistant server to operate.
The device allows you to control Zigbee devices locally, independent of manufacturers' cloud services, therefore providing more flexibility, privacy and control.
Compatible with eWeLink CUBE OS - a free, open source, locally installed software that allows you to connect eWeLink Wi-Fi and Zigbee devices from various manufacturers into a single Matter network. This allows you to control devices using Apple Home, SmartThings, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant and other Matter-enabled platforms.
ZBDongle-E comes with the coordinator software installed, but can also be used as a Zigbee router if necessary, helping to expand network coverage and improve connection quality.
