The Sonoff R5 (SwitchMan) smart lighting controller is a smart scenario controller in the form of a wall switch. It is designed to centrally control your indoor lighting using buttons or remotely.
R5 also supports the "eWeLink-Remote" signal (e.g. when connecting with M5 smart wall switch, MINIR3 smart switch and other controllers of this signal).
It can be controlled locally via eWeLink-Remote up to 90m away and can trigger other smart scenario devices. Up to 8 such R5 devices can be connected to one eWeLink-Remote controller.
Once you have created smart lighting scenarios in the eWeLink app, you can play them back with this controller without using a smart device. This is especially convenient because your phone is not always at hand, and you can control all the lighting in your home from one place.
By linking M5 series switches with Sonoff R5 smart controller, you can control the same lighting circuit from different places. No complicated electrical installation is required, which is convenient for lighting stairs or controlling the light of large rooms and corridors.
The buttons of this controller operate in 3 different modes - short press, double press and long press. Therefore, each of the 6 buttons can conveniently control one lighting circuit or the entire room lighting (a total of 18 commands).
