The RS232 cable connects any RS232/V.24 interface, such as standard PC COM ports, to the TTY/20 mA interface of control systems. The 9-pin SUB-D connector on the RS232 side connects directly to the 9-pin COM port of the PC. The device-specific AG side has a SUB-D plug that connects directly to the 15-pin socket of the control module.

Thanks to the integrated electronics in the 15-pin SUB-D connector housing, no additional housing or external power supply is required.
