This is a next-generation test device that includes analog, digital and PoE (Power over Ethernet) operating modes. It consists of a transmitter, receiver and remote controller.
Built-in LED lighting in the transmitter and receiver makes working in low light easier.
STP, UTP cable testing: cable length determination; accurate distance to defect determination.
For use with IEEE 802.3af/at and non-standard PoE devices.
The receiver has a built-in AC/DC voltage meter.
Features:
Cable Integrity Scan: Detects all short circuits, open or crossed wires at both ends, graphically displays results.
Cable length determination: measures the length of the cable/pair, range: 2.5 m ~ 200 m.
PoE testing: indicators of PoE type, voltage, power source polarity, power mode.
Flash function - determines the correct network port based on the frequency of the connected cable (by flashing the lights of the tester and the hub/router port). The screen displays network speed and protocol indicators.
