The MP3 format has long become the standard for digital audio. Files in this format dominate computers, MP3 players, smartphones, and so on, so drivers often want to listen to MP3 files in the car. In the latest car models, cassette players now support MP3-compatible CDs and even have a USB port. Owners of older cars, however, don't have the option of listening to MP3 music without replacing the factory cassette player. In this case, there's a perfect solution: a USB adapter. This device connects to the factory cassette player and CD changer connector and acts as a virtual CD changer. The USB adapter retains the full functionality of the cassette player and its steering wheel controls (if available) and is operated like a regular CD changer.
