Installing a new radio to the factory installation

The Mazda 2001->ISO adapter allows you to connect a non-factory radio to your car with an ISO connector. This means your new head unit will work with your vehicle's original audio system. This model is designed for Mazda vehicles – below you'll find a list of compatible vehicles. Choose the accessories you'll find in our online store and enjoy using your new radio of your choice in your car.

ISO adapter cables are used to passively connect retrofit devices to the factory plugs located in the radio installation socket. Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the following signals are available:

• 12V continuous current
• 12V ignition
• Ground
• Light
• Remote antenna
• Speaker connection for front and rear speakers

In the case of vehicles with other equipment, it may be necessary to connect inaccessible signals to the appropriate collection points in the vehicle (e.g. fuse box) or to use additional adaptations/interfaces:

• CAN bus interfaces
• LFB interfaces
• Reinforced amplifier adapter
• Camera adapter

Signals should be checked before connection.
