Adapter for connecting a reversing camera - what is it? We offer an adapter for connecting a rear camera for Nissan cars with Connect monitors from the 1st/2nd/3rd generation without damaging the original cables. The 24036BG00A adapter is used to connect reversing cameras in Nissan cars with the Connect OEM multimedia system from the 1st/2nd/3rd generation. Using this cable, we can install a Plug & Play reversing camera without damaging the car's wiring. How does a reversing camera work? The image from the reversing camera will be automatically displayed on the screen when reversing. The device is connected to a 24-pin socket (as shown in the wiring diagram). Once connected, all factory functions that operate using this socket are retained. Note! The installed reversing camera should be powered from the ACC line (first key turn), otherwise the camera input will not be active. Depending on the type of camera you are connecting, namely the voltage required for the camera, you can use the +6 V input voltage that the monitor produces. If the camera requires more than 6V, connect the camera power to the ACC line.
