Why buy a reversing camera adapter?

The Renault reversing camera adapter allows the driver to view the image from the vehicle's rear camera. This is useful, for example, when reversing or parking in reverse, where there is a risk of hitting another vehicle or blind spots. Importantly, the model also allows for the connection of other external video sources, such as a DVD player or DVB-T tuner.

However, remember that the adapter only transmits a video signal. To output an audio signal, you must use an AUX audio input or an FM modulator.

The r.LiNK interface allows you to connect a front and rear reversing camera and any video sources (retrofit device, e.g. DVD player, DVB-T tuner, ...) to your vehicle's factory infotainment system.

Limitations Video onlyThe interface ONLY provides video signals to the infotainment system. To provide audio signals, you can use the existing factory AUX audio input or FM modulator. Parking sensors, if the parking sensors were displayed graphically on the monitor. They will no longer be displayed.
