The Dension AVR (iPod Video Adapter) is an extension for the Gateway 500 or Gateway 500 Lite. It allows you to control video playback from various sources. It has four inputs, allowing you to connect a DVD player, rearview camera, game console, or even an iPod and USB device connected to the Gateway 500. The Dension AVR can process the video signal from the iPod and play it on the car's original screen. If your car has factory-installed rear headrest monitors, the AVR will split the signal separately for the rear monitors and the front monitor. The Dension AVR is designed for BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche. Installing the AVR in the Gateway 500 or Gateway 500 Lite allows you to gain more video inputs. An additional menu appears in the car's original menu, allowing you to control and select different video sources.
