Easy to operate in vertical position

VG-C4EM are almost identical to those on the camera body. The location, size and shape of the buttons have been optimized using the same material as the α9 II and α7R IV body. As a result, the function, placement and "feel" of the controls completely resemble the camera body when the camera is held vertically.

Sturdy and safe handle

The comfortable handle design allows you to hold the camera firmly. The vertical grip makes shooting easy and fun no matter how you hold the camera - horizontally or vertically, making it easier to focus on your subject and composition.

Effective duration doubled

VG-C4EM uses one or two NP-FZ100 batteries. With two batteries, the camera will last almost twice as long as with one battery. The remaining battery charge is displayed on the LCD screen with an accuracy of 1%. When one battery runs out, another one is automatically switched on, so there is no interruption in activity.

Battery charging or USB powered

Vertical grip batteries are charged via the camera's USB port without removing it from the camera. For long shooting, the camera battery can be recharged directly via the camera's USB port 

Light and durable magnesium alloy body

The body of the VG-C4EM is made from the same magnesium alloy used in the body of the α9 II and α7R IV to ensure the same rigidity as the camera, while keeping the overall weight and volume as low as possible.

Reliable dust/moisture resistance

The camera grip attachment is sealed with the same material as the camera body to protect against dust and moisture. This increases the overall reliability of the camera system.
