The SIGMA 23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary boasts an easy-to-use 35mm-equivalent angle of view, as well as the brightness and high resolution of a large F1.4 aperture. The optics consist of 13 elements in 10 groups, including 3 SLD glass elements and 2 aspherical lens elements, for sharp and clear images. The lens boasts excellent resolution from its maximum aperture. In addition, the large F1.4 aperture allows for large and beautiful bokeh effects. The compact, palm-sized body allows you to enjoy the rich resolution of mirrorless cameras. Thorough measures to combat flare and ghosting enable clear shooting even in bright environments.

Compact body optimized for APS-C system cameras

To take advantage of the portability of APS-C system cameras, the lens body is compact and lightweight, weighing 340g*, measuring 76.9mm* and with a filter diameter of 52mm. At the same time, the quality of the lens body itself has not been compromised. High-precision machining technology at SIGMA's sole factory in Aizu, Japan has enabled the lens body to achieve the ideal balance between excellent optical performance based on the latest optical and mechanical design and compactness. The AF drive system uses a quiet, high-speed stepping motor. The latest algorithm enables fast focusing and easy shooting.
