In addition, a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) lets you run advanced features and powerful analytics on the edge. It offers improved processing and storage capabilities so you can collect and analyze even more data than before. Plus, it delivers valuable metadata facilitating fast, easy, and efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video.

Great coverage in wide, open areas

With a wide (12 - 48 mm) Canon lens and 90°-21° horizontal field of view, AXIS Q1808-LE is perfect for surveillance in wide, open areas. It offers 4x zoom and outstanding light sensitivity to ensure excellent forensic details. Plus, white light IR LEDS (850 nm) let you switch to white light to deter unwanted activity.

Excellent details at great distances

With a tele (50 - 150 mm) Canon lens and 21°-7° horizontal field of view, AXIS Q1808-LE is perfect for great details at long distances. With an additional 3x zoom, it's ideal for identification purposes. Plus, Optimized IR allows for surveillance in complete darkness up to 150 m (500 ft) without the need for extra lighting.

In addition, PoE out lets you connect and power another device without any additional cabling. This eliminates the need to rent extra ports and simplifies installation. For instance, you can easily connect a horn speaker, strobe siren, or even another camera. Furthermore, dynamic power mode reduces power demands by as much as 50% in certain temperature ranges.

With supervised inputs, you'll be notified if the connection is cut. Plus, it can be powered with DC power and PoE, and even if there's a power outage, redundant DC power ensures a reliable power supply to safeguard your data. This robust, outdoor-ready camera is IP66-, IP67-, IK10- and NEMA 4X-rated and can handle temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F).
