The Sigma 50-100mm 1.8 DC HSM Art is a premium mid-telephoto lens for APS-C sized sensors. Part of Sigma's Global Vision Art Line, the 50-100mm 1.8 is the second lens to feature a 1.8 aperture throughout its focal length, and given the APS-C magnification, the lens covers a very useful 75-150mm range. . An improved and thinner Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) ensures fast and accurate autofocus, while 3 Premium FLD and 1 SLD elements produce incredible image sharpness. Like all SGV lenses, each lens is hand-built at our single factory in Aizu, Japan, individually tested before shipment, and works with Sigma's USB dock for firmware updates and focus calibration.
