The EC 165 KE audio system consists of two 6½" (165 mm) woofers with coaxial tweeters. It is equipped with a Focal aramid fiber cone. This distinctive yellow cone, developed using our acoustic expertise, combines lightness, stiffness, and damping, the ideal characteristics of a good loudspeaker. The result is a faithful, dynamic, and expressive sound. The TMD® suspension, combined with the cone, guarantees low distortion and perfect cone control.

To deliver smooth and precise highs, the system is equipped with two coaxial tweeters inspired by Focal's TKME. The inverted dome tweeter with the K2 diaphragm, combined with the M-shaped profile, allows for optimal dispersion of high frequencies when listening in the booth.
