Limitations:

CAN bus compatibility:In some vehicles, the CAN bus compatibility of the interface may be limited, either as a whole or for individual functions. This may be noticeable both during installation and later. The interface with all video inputs can be operated using analog switching signals without the need for connection to the vehicle's CAN bus. Individual additional functions are omitted; see chapter 2.4.2 "Analog Connection without CAN Bus."

Video only:The interface does not transmit any audio signals. To connect audio signals, you must use an existing factory AUX audio input or optional products.

Factory rear camera:Automatic switching to the RFK input occurs only as long as reverse gear is engaged. Optional accessories are required for different switching times.

Aftermarket front camera:Switching to the front camera occurs automatically when reverse gear is disengaged for 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds (depending on the OSD Position menu). Manual switching to the front camera is also possible using the external button.

Guide lines for reversing camera:In case of incomplete compatibility of the vehicle's CAN bus, the Mobile Guide Lines function cannot be used with an analog interface or connection.

Vehicles with active parking assistant system 235:The camera image cannot be displayed when the factory active system is used.
