Garmin AIS 800 transmitter receiver increases situational awareness and confidence. It has a transmission power of 5W and provides faster sending of position messages. It transmits your ship's information to other AIS receivers and receives accurate AIS data. The Garmin AIS 800 has an internal VHF antenna splitter that allows VHF and AIS to share a single antenna. The Garmin AIS 800 has a built-in GPS receiver (with an additional external antenna included) and is seamlessly integrated into the Garmin system. The transceiver has a NMEA 2000/0183 interface for easy integration with compatible chartplotters. All this is mounted in an easy-to-install black box unit.
